We went into Swadlincote and examined good, bad and ugly buildings. In particular, we were interested by how buildings in Swadlincote looked both in the past and present. We looked at one shop in particular and discussed what was wrong and what work was required. After completing surveys with the general public, we put together presentations to encourage the Heritage Committee to improve Swadlincote in the form of grants.
