Homework
Education Endowment Foundation Research shows that the impact of regular homework compounds over time and can lead to pupils making +5 months progress against expected academic acceleration. It is particularly impactful for children who have missed school or who have fallen behind due to the pandemic and lost time.
As a primary school we keep homework expectations simple and short. We want pupils to relax and play at home, but hope that sitting with your child and engaging in their learning is a supportive way for you to be a part of their day and emphasise the importance of their education and journey through this and their next school.
