Maya the force be with you
​Welcome back and we hope you had a wonderful weekend. Throughout the Summer 2 term, we will be investigating and learning about the life of the Mayan. We will examine their religion, food, the number and writing systems and find out about the discoveries and technology used by the Mayans.
Week commencing 10th July
Literacy
This week we will be planning, drafting and writing a biography about one of the greatest sportsman and civil rights promoters - Muhammad Ali
Maths
Year 5 will learning about time and using it in practical situations.
Science
We will continue our investigation on light and how light travels. We will investigate the effects of refraction on the movement of light.
Along with all these activities we will be enjoying some Central American art tasks, creating our own podcast and many other things...
