Homework
Reading - Children should read every day and bring their reading books daily. This is the most important way you can support your child with learning at home. Evidence of reading should be uploaded to Seesaw and added to the reading at home folder; the staff can help you with this if you get stuck!
Time Tables - Times Table Rockstars should be used daily to help children maintain their time table knowledge for at least 10 minutes. Each week we will award certificates for our highest earner, star of the week and most improved.
Learning Powers
Our learning powers run throughout school and underpin the core values we work to and hope to develop in the children.
The Learning Powers are:
These Powers underpin our curriculum aims and develop growth-mind-set. They also provide our children with the right start preparing for life outside beyond Fairmeadows.
Forest School
Forest School is an inspirational process that offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in our very own woodland and natural environment. Children we have a session each week for the whole year.
Year 3 will be doing Forest School on Fridays, beginning 12/09/25.
Please see a list of clothing for your child's sessions.
