Welcome to Year 2
Hello!
I am Mrs Wassell and I am the Year Two teacher at Fairmeadows. I love teaching the curriculum using a fun, creative and engaging approach. Outside of school I love spending time with my family, completing craft projects and travelling to new places.
Mrs Boulter and Mrs Talbot will be working with us this year and we are looking forward to a great year ahead!
Key Information
- Please bring your child's labelled book bag into school every day.
- Children receive a healthy snack at breaktime.
- Please bring a named water bottle. This must contain only water.
- Please only wear stud earrings at school and on PE days it helps if the children do not wear them.
- Come to school in PE kit on Monday and Friday each week.
- Please communicate with the office using Parent mail and contact Mrs Boulter or myself through Seesaw.

These Powers underpin our curriculum aims and develop growth-mind-set. They also provide our children with the right start preparing for life outside beyond Fairmeadows.
Forest Schools
Forest School is an inspirational process that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in our very own woodland and natural environment. Children we have a session each week on a Monday during summer term 1.
