This is the home of the poems Year 6 will be memorising, handwriting and analysing as part of our literacy work this term. Please feel free to look at them with your children and explore the meaning and the vocabulary involved. The children have already worked on two of these ('Solomon Grundy' and 'Self Pity') Next we will be looking at: "In this Short Life" and then next week: 'Do Not Go Gentle into that Goodnight' before finishing the term with 'The Listeners' and 'The Highwayman'. I hope you enjoy sharing these gems as much as I will.
