The children have got their reading books and word pockets. Please enjoy sharing the books with your child by talking about the pictures and reading the words together. In sharing the words and sounds you might want to make a game by turning over the cards to reveal the word or sound.
Can you please ensure that your child’s clothes are labelled, including shirts, trousers and shoes as these can easily become mixed up when the children are getting changed for PE. If you have yet to put names in your child’s clothes, we do have special pens that you can borrow. Just ask and we will get one for you. Many thanks.
What's on this week: We're going on a bear hunt (again!) We will be doing more bear hunting this week. In maths we will practise missing numbers to 20 and 100.
Person of the Week: Everybody has now had a chance to be the person of the week. We will now choose a Person of the Day each day.
Every week we will put a talk and share and maths challenge on the newsletter. We have now added a Tommy the Turtle writing challenge, too. Please let us know when you have a go at these and how your child gets on with them. Remember, there are rewards for super work!
